When you first arrive at the property, you will be greeted by ample parking, both covered and uncovered. Each side of the duplex can fit 2 cars in the carport and at least 2 more in the driveway. Walk up the stairs to either side of the home where you will find the entry doors to each unit. Both entry doors have awnings to keep you dry when you are trying to get in during those surprise summer showers. Each side of the property offers Keyless Access, so you’ll have no keys to worry about. Your party will be given an access code to use during your stay. Come on in and prepare to be amazed! Keep in mind that each side of the property is a mirror image of the other.

When you first walk in you are greeted by a entry hall with hardwood flooring. On the island side of the property, you will find the first floor bedroom, complete with a Queen bed, flat screen TV and sound views. Immediately outside of the bedroom door, you will find a shared full bathroom with shower, toilet, mirror and vanity. The full size washers and dryers are located in the hallways going toward the kitchens behind the double doors.

The new kitchens are a cooks dream! Reconfigured from their original shape and size, the kitchens now offer guests more spacious and easily navigated layouts. The granite countertops along with the repurposed cabinets are a stunning and elegant addition to these spaces. Fully stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware, the chefs in your family with feel like masters while they are whipping up family meals for the whole crew. Each of the teak dining tables offer seating for 8, and each of the island bars offer 3 additional stools. The rustic contemporary living rooms offer the perfect space for the family to sit back and enjoy the home. Not only can you soak in the stunning ocean view through the sliding doors, but enjoy a large 65" Flat screen Smart Cable TV complete with movies channels and smart apps like Netflix, in each living room for those rainy days and lazy afternoons . Wireless internet service is provided at this property so you can stay connected and brag to all of your friends that you are having a great time here on Topsail! Directly off the living rooms you will have access to the large shared oceanfront deck. The beach access walkway is centrally located and shared with both sides of the duplex. Each side has their own outside rinse shower, picnic table and chairs. Please note that although this property is a duplex, there is no adjoining interior door. You can gain access to each side by using the shared deck. 

Upstairs you will find the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms. Directly in front of the stairs on each side of the duplex will be the shared full bathroom with shower, toilet, mirror and vanity. Next to each bathroom will be an island side bedroom that offers a Queen bed, flat screen TV and sound views from a private balcony. The central bedrooms each offer 2 sets of twin bunk beds, and are perfect for the younger members of your group! Last, but certainly not least, you will come to the Master Suites. These elegant rooms are fit for the Kings and Queens in your party. Each suite offers a King sized bed, flat screen TV and private oceanfront balcony. The private master baths each offer double vanities and a shower/tub combo. You may not see whoever stays in these rooms throughout your stay since they will have the best views in the house and the most comfortable place to enjoy them.

Gimmie Shelter is perfect for pet friendly families with up to 24 guests. If you have smaller groups of 12 or less coming you can still rent each side of this amazing duplex individually as Gimmie Shelter - North or Gimmie Shelter - South.
